House rules
Every rule the marketplace enforces, in plain words. The same rules are settings in the API, so what you read here is what the system does.
Bidding
- Every negotiable listing carries a private floor. A bid under it is declined automatically; the seller is never told and it does not count as a round.
- Open bids are valid for 48 hours. Up to three counter rounds; after the last one either side accepts or declines.
- Only verified companies can bid. One open bid per listing per company; up to 20 bids per hour.
- Sellers stay anonymous until acceptance. Buyers see a rating and a deal count, not a name.
Fees
- One close fee of 1.5% of the goods subtotal, paid by the seller when a deal completes. Minimum $25 per deal. No listing fees, no subscriptions.
- The fee is frozen on the deal at acceptance and invoiced with 14-day terms.
Escrow and payment
- Escrow is optional per deal and either party may request it before payment. Stock is reserved for 48 hours after acceptance; an unpaid deal is cancelled and the stock released.
- Three expired holds in 90 days suspend the buyer.
House stock
- UltraEdge sells its own inventory under three published rules: it pays the same fee as every seller, it uses the same floor logic, and it gets no priority in search.
- House listings carry the "UltraEdge stock" badge.
Used equipment
- Used lots state sale format, functional status and cosmetic grade (A, B, C), and must carry actual lot photos before publishing.
- Data-bearing devices state whether data was wiped, drives removed, or a certificate is available.
